Abstract :
A novel speed sensorless vector control is presented for an induction motor. Speed and rotor resistance estimator has been designed using Lyapunov-like technique. A speed and flux controller has been realized using an indirect-field orientation concept. With this choice, robustness with respect to stator resistance uncertainties can be improved by means of rotor flux reference feedback in the speed-rotor resistance estimator. The performance of the solution proposed has been tested by simulations and by experiments
