Abstract :
Robotized Drilling Machine (RDM) was mainly developed to ensure the workers drill holes in coal mine safely. RDM is controlled with computers and rods can be assembled and disassembled automatically and holes can be drilled automatically. Under the conditions in coal mines the control system of RDM is essentially safe. The drilling process is controlled based on rules. The fault diagnosis of RDM is based on experience
