Abstract :
It is important to ensure safe operation of wind power unit in wind farms. In this paper, six safety detection technologies of wind power units are prescribed. Combining experts´ experience, weights of safety detection technologies are determined by the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method. Then, safety index is calculated for evaluation of wind power units safety. The example application shows the AHP method is contributed to safety detection and evaluation of wind power units.
