Abstract :
Energy efficiency and maximizing network lifetime are some important items in wireless sensor networks design. In this article, we proposed an efficient utilization to not only reduce consumption energy in network but also increase lifetime of the network In our design we used cooperative scheme to save more energy compared with direct transmission. The processed data from cluster head which is the major energy consumer, transmitted to the other nodes. The consumption energy depends both upon the length of the packet and the distance between nodes to cluster head and cluster head to base station. The proposed method reduces the length of the packet of data adaptively, so it would result in less burdened with heavy relay traffic in cluster heads and increase their lifetime. As a matter of fact instead of common delta modulator in literature, we implement adaptive delta modulator to reduce the packet size adaptively. Finally, we optimized total consumption energy by considering packet error rate with respect to two variants of optimization, such as number of nodes in each cluster, cluster radius and different modulation methods. In order to simulating this optimization method, we investigate particle swarm optimization to decrease difficulty of the problem. As a consequence of this proposed model, the adaptive delta modulation will reduce the size of the packet and optimization method will make the consumption total energy more efficient for sending those packets of data in clustered cooperative telecommunication network system.
