Abstract :
Resource discovery is a challenging issue in Grid. A large number of mechanisms have been proposed for resource discovery based on the graph and tree method, but less attention has been paid to the dynamism of the Grid environment, the integrity of the system, reliability and quality of service. In this paper a new mechanism (DBTT) is proposed for resource discovery, which can include these criteria to resource discovery decisions and direct requests to trustable nodes. Results of simulations showed that the Dynamic Binary Tree Trust (DBTT) mechanism exhibits better performance in terms of the number of successful responses, average number of hops for successful requests and error ratio.
