Abstract :
With the gradual integration of Chinese economy and the global economy, large domestic construction enterprises are playing more and more important roles in the international arena. While globalization makes the market environment more and more complex, Chinese construction enterprises have to face the competition environment changing from relatively inward to open. And the competing level of these enterprises is changing into increase of core competitiveness. With the rapid development of IT technology, the new effective integrated system of project management will carry unlimited opportunities to the international construction enterprises and great pressure to those unaware of the importance of the IT strategy at the same time. A questionnaire-based research approach was adopted to identify the barriers of information technology implementation, for the benefit IT can take to the enterprises and the coping strategies.
