Abstract
Nowadays with development of smart buildings this subject has gained importance so the experts can analyze and research ideas for smart buildings to decrease expenses and saving Energy. Time is of The Essence therefor the experts using simulator software before building a smart house so using suitable simulator is very important. This paper introduce an object oriented simulator for discrete events in smart buildings. Simulation process include two phase, in phase one user either can design building floor plan manually or import DWG file from CAD software, then placing home appliances and equipment in building plan. After design finished, in phase two user can simulate with two methods, defining scenario or moving the person on plan freely Then analyze building reaction. With these features flexibility and usability increased so user can easily simulating smart building and study new ideas with lower test costs.
