Abstract
In this work, the high-threshold capacitor coupling trigger (HCCT) and the low-threshold capacitor coupling trigger (LCCT) circuits are presented An interconnection speed-up circuit called the capacitor coupling accelerator (CCA) is also proposed. Using the CCA, the delay of a 10,000 μm wire in a 0.18 μm process is 43% reduced The CCA is operated without dc power consumption. Moreover it can be applied to the transmission of bi-directional signals.
