Abstract
The paper will present examples of how the Maridan company has successfully integrated a range of instruments into the MARIDAN-600 AUV, including side scan sonar (Klein and Tritech), sub bottom profiler (SBP) (GeoAcoustics), multi beam echo sounder (Reson) and digital camera (SONY). It also points out the most important characteristics to consider when designing sensors suitable for AUV surveys
