Abstract :
New strong in mathematical sense and numerically efficient method for investigation of two-dimensional boundary value problem of electromagnetic wave diffraction by infinite and homogeneous in longitudinal direction imperfectly conductive cylinder of arbitrary smooth cross section is suggested. The imperfect conductivity is modelled by the bounday condition of the third kind, for example, by Leontovich condition with impedance, which is supposed to be an arbitrary smooth function ofpoints of the obstacle cross section contour.
