  • Abstract
This paper evaluates the interference effect from Blind Spot Detection System (BSDS) into Radar Vehicle Detector (RVD) in 24.05-24.25 GHz band. For this, the geographical model for the analysis is proposed and the Monte-Carlo dynamic simulation for aggregate case is performed. The simulation results show that the received interfered power from many BSDS depends on the distance along the road and the time. We learn that an appropriate location of the RVD antenna is helpful to mitigate the interference from BSDS. This geographical model could be used for planning RVD deployment without an unacceptable interference impact from BSDS.
