  • Abstract
Taking single generator infinite-bus system as example, equivalent reactance between generator and infinite bus is calculated and analytic expression of electromagnetic power is derived during the whole process during the whole process from single-phase fault occurred to fault-phase breaker tripped, single-phase re-closing to permanent fault and till three phase breakers tripped. Then single-phase reclosure sequence´s influence on CCT is analyzed in theory by deducing the formulation to calculate critical clearing angle under different reclosure sequence based on equal area criterion. Such conclusion is obtained that CCT can be prolonged by reclosing to the terminal with less equivalent reactance firstly when single-phase permanent fault occurs on transmission line, which is beneficial to improve power system´s transient stability. Its correctness and effectiveness are verified by simulation results in IEEE 39-bus system.
