Abstract :
In recent years, the developing speed of emerging technologies keep accelerating. Correctly understanding the future trend of technologies can help the government and enterprises formulate R&D strategies, and then seize the chance. Therefore, the research in Technology Trend has increasingly becomes a hotspot in technology management. First, the article puts forward four main aspects that technological developing trend need to be investigated. Then, a new technology trend evaluation system is proposed which describes the developing trend of a particular emerging technology through these four aspects based on patent information. During the evaluation process, several patent analysis methods are used after some improvements. At last, an empirical study is given. The results show good feasibility and scientific of this evaluation frame, also provides support for the better management of emerging technologies.
