Abstract
The definition of production network and five kinds of production mode are proposed for a class of production process. Similarly, the bottleneck of a maximum production network and the correlated theorem are presented. A modeling method for an oil refinery process and an algorithm for seeking its bottleneck and maximum production capacity are developed. Finally the results of simulation are also discussed
