Abstract
Signal processing is a critical component of many of the systems that provide revolutionary capabilities to the Department of Defense. Discussed in this paper are some of the current research programs in hyperspectral imaging, automatic target recognition, and moving target indicators. This research leads to new capabilities to enhance national security
