Abstract
Electric type dyadic Green´s function is derived for the full-wave analysis of shielded planar transmission line configurations. Green´s dyadic components of a multilayered region are presented as a series expansion over a complete set of Helmholtz operator eigenfunctions with one-dimensional Green´s functions as unknown coefficients. For the Green´s functions analytically simple and uniform expressions are obtained. The Green´s dyadic of the multilayered region is involved in the electric field integral formulation for overlapping reginus to construct a generalized Computational algorithm for the analysis of planar transmission lines. To validate the presented approach, several shielded planar line configurations, such as hroadside-coupled microstrip lines, bilateral finlines, and hroadside-coupled coplanar waveguides, are analyzed and calculation results are compared with available data.
