Abstract :
This paper describes the dynamic analysis of a three-degree-of-freedom electromagnetic spherical actuator employing 3-D FEM. In this analysis, the magnetic field equation is combined with the electric circuit equation and motion equations of three axes. The influence of one axis operation on other axes is evaluated. The validity of the analysis is confirmed by carrying out the measurement on a prototype.
