Abstract
A paradigm for digital logic based upon ferromagnetic nanowires is presented. NOT-gates, AND-gates, fan-outs and cross-over elements have all been demonstrated experimentally. We propose an application of this architecture to nonvolatile serial memory for high density data storage in small form factor applications such as mobile phones, digital cameras and USB memory sticks.
