Abstract :
In recent years, empirical analysis of data obtained from various systems have shown the existence of multifractal behavior. The traditional methods used for the analysis of multifractals are based on thermodynamical formalisms which are difficult to compute. In this paper we propose a new method based on entropy measurement to identify the presence of multifractal nature in physical systems.
