  • Abstract
A simple intelligent laser pointer is designed with Blankfin533 image processing capabilities. First, we use the camera to get the projection image of screen (including the light spot produced by the laser pointer), and input the image into DSP processor (BF533). We can determine the position of the light spot in the corresponding location of the computer screen through the image processing, then click on the small keyboard buttons, and through serial communication, transform the information received from the serial port into a mouse operations (left, right, click, double click, scroll, etc.) or keyboard operations (forward, backward, etc.). Users only need to take a laser pointer to point to the location they want to control, and select the operation by clicking on the small keyboard buttons and realize remote control to the slide projector.
