Abstract
In HVDC converter station, the characteristics of steady electromagnetic environment is related to the working state of converter valve´s AC-DC conversion process. Every fast firing and breaking process of the converter valve leads to an electromagnetic transient process, as well as a electromagnetic field with high frequency and wide spectrum. This paper analyses the working process of 12-pulse-converter, converter valve condition table for time-variated radiation model, the scaled converter valve model, and then analyzing the results between test and simulation.
