Abstract :
This paper describes the design and implementation of MBS (multicast & broadcast service) server for mobile IPTV service in WiMAX networks. Based on interoperability requirements of WiMAX networks, the presented MBS server was implemented for mobile IPTV services and basically provides MBS service announcement and session management functions, dynamic MBS zone management, and MBS data transmission.
