Abstract
This paper deals with the design of an AC-to-DC power converter based on a flyback converter which uses the recently proposed active input current shaper (AICS) to reduce the line current harmonics, in order to comply with the IEC 1000-3-2 specifications, maintaining fast response. Several design possibilities have been theoretically and experimentally analyzed in order to achieve low cost, good efficiency and compliance with the regulations
