Abstract :
In this study, a theoretical model for describing the relationship between the extension and resistance of 1times1 rib fabric made from conductive fibers is established. A resistance-circuit network was proposed based on the analysis of fabric geometry, and the equivalent resistance of the network was calculated. Finally, verification experiment was conducted, and results shows that the calculated data agree with their corresponding results even though an error is still remained.
