Abstract :
This work shows an example for human-machine interaction by a new developed holonomic moving device. The holonomic moving device is implemented in an computer mouse. The mouse works both as a sensor and a actor. This idea opens different fields of application. For example the device can produce a haptic feeling of working together over a wide area network. Another field is the usage in education domains where the user is physically guided through menus and applications. The third application example shown here is the support of medical physiotherapy where the device can train and correct coordination problems of hand movements. Experimental setups will also be discussed and a prototype of such a device is described in detail and the proof of concept is evaluated experimentally.
