Abstract :
In the search for low cost high power semiconductor diode oscillator devices, a new millimeter wave evanescent mode power combiner with Gunn diode oscillator at 35 GHz employing combination of suspended stripline and evanescent mode resonator is developed. With a 35 GHz diode rated at 100 mW, stable power output of more than 180 mW is achieved over a tuning range of about 3.5 GHz. The oscillator is simple in fabrication, cost effective and is amenable for integration with other planar circuits
