Abstract
To reveal how the base motion influences the magnetic suspension dynamics in a vehicular FWB, this paper makes some simplification of the magnetic suspended vehicular FWB at this first research stage and fabricates a novel and concise magnetic suspended disk test device as a simplified FWB model, and sets up a vibrating-base magnetic suspend disk test system. A series of computer controlled sine and random vibration signal with different frequencies are applied to the base and the dynamic response of the suspended disk are measured through several accelerometers mounted on the disk. The test data of interaction between input base vibration signal and the disk dynamic response are analyzed for controller improvement.
