Abstract :
Methods for packet transmission are described which are suited for low-power indoor radio communication. Specifically, a novel ARQ (automatic repeat request) scheme and synchronization method are presented which can cope with heavily time-varying channels. All methods can be easily implemented on a standard microcomputer. Simulation and field test results show the superiority of the methods over conventional techniques
