Abstract
Drawing upon actor-network theory and Lyytinen and King (2002)psilas classification on the factors influencing standard adoption, this paper investigates Chinapsilas experience of moving towards the third generation (3G) market. We will disclose how the specific technological, institutional and social contexts of China has influenced different social actors to push the market innovate in a unique way.
