Abstract :
A single processor design of a 2-D Wiener filter is proposed. The adaptive processing including linear system solver, filter coefficients generation, correlation matrix generation and 2D finite impulse response (FIR) filtering are all mapped to a common structure, and are then implemented as a single processor. With modularized design and localized and regularized data transfer, high-speed processing is obtained for large volumes of image data
