  • Abstract
The performance of a 3-phase, 4-pole, 24000 rpm, axially slitted and radially grooved high-speed solid rotor induction motor (SRIM) with copper end-rings is studied and analyzed numerically, using a 2D FEM tool. The prototype motor is constructed and tested. The FEM simulation results are compared with the measured ones.
