  • Abstract
    This paper shows a new way to calculate the electric field configuration produced in the vicinity of an Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL), when a information signal is inserted at one of these phases. The technology is called Power Line Communication (PLC) and through the software CST Microwave Studio®, it is possible to establish a region in the vicinity of the conductors to observe the obtained values which are compared with Brazilian standards limits.
