Abstract
Commercial aircraft require current harmonics of <3% and load balancing of <200 watts phase difference. Three phase power factor correction (PFC) topologies are either complex or costly. By combining line to line and line to neutral single phase PFC circuits, both phase load balance and low harmonics can be achieved. This paper describes a method which meet those criteria while achieving low cost through the use of single phase PFC circuits
