Abstract :
Drive availability is a function of both drive reliability and the repair time of the drive. This paper presents design tools that can be used to improve both the reliability and repair time of a drive during the design phase of the drive. Specific tools are outlined that are particularly applicable to large horsepower medium voltage drives
