  • Abstract
The continuity and reliability of house supply is the basic requirement in power plant. All the transfer methods are designed to provide process continuity to the motor bus when transferring the bus from one source to another. In this paper, the static characteristic of induction motor and traits of bus residual voltage are analyzed in detail, then it points out the problems of the two popular transfer methods-fast transfer and in-phase transfer. Finally, it provides a new thought for transfer. This method is very effective and beneficial to mitigate the problems related to the loss of process continuity, and it can provide enormous savings in revenue and reduce motor maintenance
