The level of appropriate technology for a community has been advancing due to rapidly emerging techniques and developments thereby turning possible applications into practical ones. This publication is one is a series that cross references emerging technologies and needs in the three main humanitarian project categories of developing communities, disaster recovery, and redevelopment.
