Abstract :
Agents are processes which work as autonomous entities or with other agents. To execute some processes at different location, a distributed application has to be executed at those places. Workflow is a heterogeneous and distributed information system used to describe process flow. A Petri net is a tool to model the interaction between various sub processes of a workflow system at the conceptual level. Product ordering process in the e-commerce domain is distributed geographically over dispersed business partners. The reliability of the centralized system can´t be guaranteed since there can be single point of failure. The performance is degraded when there are too many process instances to handle. In this paper to negotiate the system dynamics of a high-level net model is presented to support distributed decision making by describing how consistently the distributed workflow transactions are executed and its recoverability from multiple resiliency.
