  • Abstract
To suppress the influence of the disturbance sound sources on the underwater acoustic image measurement, an disturbance suppression method based on the adaptive disturbance cancellation is presented. When the adaptive disturbance cancellation method is used in the passive measurement process, the key point is how to get the reference signal. The high-light point focus method is presented in the paper in order to get the reference signal. The disturbance sound sources are counteracted in the element level, so that the influence of them is suppressed effectively on the near field underwater acoustic image measurement. The simulation and the experiment research are done to validate the method. The results show that this method is effective in the case of either equal power or unequal power between the disturbance sound sources and the target sources.
