Abstract
Individual watermarks can be used in security sensitive situations to trace the source of unauthorized redistributed content. We have investigated how to distribute such content over a peer-to-peer network, using adapted versions of previously known watermarking methods originally constructed for multicast and broadcast networks. Two different methods for doing so are proposed using shared fragments and client based watermarking. Both the distribution aspect and the watermarking methods are discussed.
