Test consulting system for switching systems

The test consulting system (TCS) is an expert system that can automatically generate test scripts for testing switching systems from feature operation descriptions written in feature description elements (FDE). TCS also provides general information of switching system features and testing for reference. TCS has on-line help to explain concepts and questions that relate to the system and test process. Automatically generating test procedures is based on the logic within switching systems features and the knowledge of experienced testers. TCS can accumulate testers´ experience in efficiently finding errors, identifying critical parts of the system, and locating related materials
