  • Abstract
    There are many faults in the production process of the VTR (video tape recorder) automated assembly line. A fault diagnosis system is set up to meet the needs of the factory. For analyzing the fault features, the statistical fault data are collected and analyzed. The system fault rate is defined. The fault model and fault mechanism are analyzed. A fault tree analysis is put forward. Applying probability and statistics, the fault probabilistic calculation formula is introduced. The application of the fault diagnosis system for the automated assembly line is presented
