Abstract :
A technique for the simulation of switching high frequency DC-DC supplies is proposed. By identifying two subcircuits of the power supply that are called modulator-demodulator sections, a process which is similar to the amplitude modulation of a signal can be indicated. It is thus possible to consider the switching supplies as a power mixer. This approach allows a circuit simulation based on a mixed frequency-time analysis using the Spice program suitably improved by adding the harmonic balance method
