  • Abstract
The aim of the work on the proposed topic is to briefly analyze methods for synchronisation in mobile next generation networks and conduct survey of the basic parameters that determine the quality of synchronisation. To solve the problem of synchronisation will be described in two separate approaches: The first, consisting of plesiochronous methods and/or methods with synchronous phisical layer. Synchronous Ethernet belongs to these methods. Others, who are the methods that are based on the use of packets which are independent of the basic transport layer. These methods include the IETF - NTP and PTP - IEEE 1588 protocols. Special attention is paid to the method of PTP protocols with regard to the role that it plays in solving the problem of synchronisation in mobile packet networks.
