Abstract

This study was designed to investigate the relationships among cultural factors and leisure sports behavior of city dwellers which based on Karahanna´s behavior theory. Structural equation modeling techniques were used to test the hypothesized relations in a sample of 383 dwellers in Shenzhen,China.SPSS 16.0 and AMOS16.0 were employed to analyze survey data to consider the interactive influences of cultural value, social support, cognition, skills and behavior of leisure sports among city dwellers.The results show that four cultural factors are affecting dwellers´ leisure sport in varying degrees, and then according to the results, some rational suggestions are proposed.
