Abstract
This paper analyzes the needs and requirements of maintenance decision support for electric utilities. After a brief review of maintenance decision support systems, a new realization concept is proposed to take the full advantage of the Internet based technologies. The implemented system is then introduced to demonstrate the feasibility and potential benefits.
