  • Abstract
Determining a suitable data structure is the fundamental task in any data modeling exercise. Even though there can be many data structures for the same application, there are some fundamental features that the structure should reflect. The data structures in use for text data is not directly suitable for video data mainly due to its contrasting characteristics. Hence, we have come up with a data structure for video data that reflect its characteristics. These characteristics also allow us to make a general statement about how data can be organized and processed. We have defined a data structure for video data and illustrated the two data structuring tools using an application. The multi-level abstraction technique employed to understand the video data is discussed
