Abstract :
Much attention has been paid to the electricity tracing method which is based on the proportional sharing principle ever since the method is proposed. As it is impossible to ´dye´ the incoming flows and check the colour of the outflows, the proportional sharing principle can be neither proved nor disproved. But in some papers, it is claimed that the proportional sharing principle is proved theoretically there under circuit theory. In this paper, the proving processes about the electricity tracing method in some papers are carefully analyzed, and then some imprecise statements are pointed out. It may be helpful to correctly understand and apply the electricity tracing theory
