Abstract
The authors introduced a novel method to identify the model parameters in the range of whole power system. The method records voltages and angles of main buses while the disturbance occurs. Then, the comparison will be made between simulations and recorded dynamics. The model parameters will be gained iteratively by using genetic algorithm. The method has been applied to identify the model parameters in the New-England system. The results are promising
