Abstract
AUTOSAR was jointly developed by automotive manufacturers, suppliers, and semiconductor chip vendors in order to overcome the complexity of contemporary automotive Electrics/Electronics architecture. AUTOSAR provides memory cluster for reading and writing data to non-volatile memory media such as Flash or EEPROM memory. In this paper, we propose new memory cluster architecture which can access internal RAM, Flash ROM, and EEPROM directly. The new architecture which has additional function is AUTOSAR-compliant memory cluster architecture which can access Flash memory and EEPROM respectively. And it can also access internal RAM, Flash ROM, and EEPROM by using diagnostic message. To make a component based design possible, we designed memory cluster modules that use a layered architecture that supports the decoupling of automotive hardware and system software.
