Abstract :
The multipath fading can be modeled using k-μ probability distribution. An analysis has been performed of the effects of the spatial diversity to mitigating the short-term fading and interference in wireless digital telecommunication systems. Statistical analysis of the first and second order system parameters, as well as the probability of the system failure under such conditions, has been performed for the signal affected by k-μ fading. Effects of spatial diversity are analysed when applied to a system undergoing k-μ fading.
